If you're helping to care for a parent, spouse or friend at home, your life is a balancing act.  You want to provide the best care possible - but if you're like many caregivers, you have many other commitments, including a job and a family.

Luckily, the American Red Cross can help.

mother daughter We are proud to introduce our Family Caregiving Program. This exciting new program offers you a helping hand by providing a variety of information-packed sessions covering topics that can help you provide the care that your loved one may need, including subjects such as home safety, healthy eating, and bathing, as well as legal and financial issues. There's even a session that helps you take care of yourself.
 
There are nine different topics to explore in this program and a variety of ways to learn them.
 

Program Options:
1. Family Caregiving Reference Guide with DVD - Purchase the colorful, easy-to-use Family Caregiving Reference Guide with DVD so you can learn at your own pace and own time.  The DVD provides live examples of the important techniques you need to know when caring for a loved one.

2. Family Caregiver Leader Guide - Become a Family Caregiving leader and teach this information to your employees, co-workers, family or friends.  Guide includes all materials you will  need to teach the Family Caregiving program to others.  DVD is sold separately or available for rent.
