Help Now...Become an American Red Cross Volunteer

Each year over one million Americans serve as Red Cross volunteers serving local community needs — teaching first aid and CPR courses, providing half the nation's blood supply, delivering emergency messages to members of the military and responding to disasters to provide emergency assistance.

The Mid-Missouri Chapter of the American Red Cross delivers services in the central Missouri area through the support and time of people just like you. Why don't you get involved and help, too!?  See below to find out how.

Online Orientation for Volunteers

All Red Cross volunteers must complete this short web-based orientation before starting their volunteer training and assignments. This orientation consists of 5 modules. It takes a total of 1.5 hours to complete all 5 modules. You can certainly do just a few modules at a time as your schedule allows -- as long as you complete all 5 modules before you start volunteering.

Introduction to Disaster Services

This online video shows you some of the work that disaster volunteers perform on site and behind the scenes. Members of our chapter's Disaster Action Team (DAT) are required to view this video as part of the introductory training process.
